ADULT BASKETBALL LEAGUE (18+)

Our YMCA Adult Basketball League is dedicated to giving adults an opportunity to participate in an organized team sport while having fun, meeting friends and getting fit. Our Adult Basketball League keeps winning in perspective along with fair play and good sportsmanship.

Indoor Soccer has all the excitement of playing outdoor soccer with the added fun of passing and dribbling off the walls. Our Arena Soccer leagues and programs offer a variety of play - from recreational games where everyone gets a chance to play, to highly competitive leagues with adults!

ADULT KICKBALL LEAGUE  (18+)

Kickball is open to both men and women to play this fun sport, meet new people and enjoy friendly competition.

LUNCH OPEN GYM BASKETBALL (18+)

Join this group at the Meadowlands Y on Monday-Friday from 12:00-2:00pm for a fun and challenging game of basketball. All participants must be members or pay for a guest pass. Men and women are welcome.

Private basketball lessons are one hour each and are designed to cover offensive and defensive techniques personalized to a player's needs by a qualified instructor.

WELLNESS CLASSES - Ages 16+

KETTLEBELL BASICS

Introduction to Kettlebell exercises. The Kettlebell is a weight (5-40+ lbs) that looks like a ball with a handle. Kettlebell workouts are functional, compound exercises that work multiple muscle groups simultaneously. Kettlebell exercises will improve core strength, endurance (both muscular and cardiovascular), flexibility, and joint stability. Come and learn the basics.

TRX® SUSPENSION HIIT

TRX is a revolutionary method of suspension training using body weight exercise to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. Instructor will lead participants through varying exercises on the suspension trainer that are time controlled. Form is priority as you work through as many reps as you can.  Previous experience on the TRX suspension trainer is required. 

ATHLETIC AdvantEDGE

A conditioning class that utilizes the Technogym SKILLMILL™, Concept II Rowers, Barbell Lifts, Kettlebells, and Plyo boxes in a circuit format class to enhance your all round athletic performance.

TRX® COMBO

Utilizing the TRX® Suspension Trainer and the TRX® RIP Trainer in a circuit style class to enhance all 3 planes of motion. With TRX® RIP Trainer exercises are focused on high speed striking movements or slow speed strength and stability exercises with integrated rotational movement

AERIAL YOGA

Aerial Yoga is everything you love about yoga with a twist of play, flight, meditation, restoration, core stabilization, and full range of motion. It will leave you floating out of class and coming back for more.

FUNCTIONAL FOUNDATIONS

Functional training exercises are full-body movements in multiple planes of motion. Exercises covered include squatting, lunging, pushing, pulling, and twisting. Functional training focuses on the “transfer effect”, wherein gains in functional strength and neuromuscular coordination carry over to activities of everyday life and athletic feats, improving performance while decreasing the risk of injury. After successful completion of body weight alone, progressions will include various forms of resistance and stability equipment.

TRX® SUSPENSION BASICS

TRX® is a revolutionary method of suspension training using body weight exercise to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. Instructor will lead youth to become more spatial aware of their body position through progressive development of stabilization exercises on the TRX suspension trainer.
