The Meadowlands Area YMCA has named David Kisselback as its new President & Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2019. Selected by the Y’s Board of Directors, following a three-month search, Kisselback will succeed Jane A. Egan who will retire December 31st. In his new role, Kisselback will be responsible for guiding the YMCA into the next stage of its history as one of the region’s most significant institutions.

The Meadowlands YMCA has kicked off its Drive to $1 Million fundraising campaign with $125,000 in initial contributions generated by its board members, including $50,000 from Kearny Bank through Y Vice Chairman, John Mazur and $25,000 from Mazars USA through Y Development Committee Chair, Mike Coletti.

The Meadowlands YMCA has announced that former Korean National Swim Champion, Chris Hwang, will be the new coach for the Sharks Swim Team. Current coach, Jim Semenecz, will be retiring after a tremendous 11-year tenure in January.
