The Provident Bank Foundation Presents check to Meadowlands YMCA

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (November 16, 2017)—On November 13, 2017, representatives of The Provident Bank Foundation and of Provident Bank presented a grant from The Provident Bank Foundation in the amount of $8,000 to the Meadowlands Area YMCA. This grant will go towards the MoveWell Today® Diabetes Exercise Program, a new program focused on improving the quality of life for those suffering from Type 2 Diabetes. MoveWell Today offers tested curricula designed specifically to address the physical and emotional needs of the participants through regular exercise, nutritional help, and social interaction. The Y is one of the few places where those with chronic disease can improve their health at little or no cost. 

Meadowlands YMCA Wellness Director Michelle Moore said that, “The Provident Bank Foundation helping by believing in our cause and our ability to positively impact the diabetic community to a healthier lifestyle through their generous grant.”
