Active Older Adult

 

The Meadowlands YMCA offers a variety of wellness opportunities for active older adults—from baby boomers to seniors—including physical fitness, social activities and more.

If you're interested in staying active and burning calories but are worried about any arthritis or other physical or joint limitations, we have the perfect group fitness classes for you! 

Pick from accessible workout classes like:

  • Armchair Exercise
  • Chair Yoga
  • Stretch & Flex
  • Zumba Gold
  • And many more!

ACTIVE OLDER ADULT GROUP EXERCISE SCHEDULE

Classes are available both in person and via ZOOM. The online classes will be presented on ZOOM.  ZOOM is a video conferencing program for the computer that will allow you to connect with the instructor and the other class members from their own homes. It works on computers, tablets, and smartphones almost automatically! If you haven't already participated in a ZOOM call and need instructions on the simple to use service, please click here for help.
