Falls are the leading cause of injuries for older Americans. Sudden loss of balance threatens seniors’ safety and independence. 

However, falling is not an inevitable result of aging. Through practical lifestyle adjustments, evidence-based falls prevention programs, and clinical-community partnerships, the number of falls among seniors can be substantially reduced.

Concussions: Diagnosis, Treatment & Management

Concussions are caused after an impact to the head or whiplash-type injury, which causes the brain to shake quickly. Although these injuries are commonly seen in sports, they can also occur from a fall, car crash, or other daily activities. 

Whether you play sports or have a child who does, being educated on the proper concussion protocol is vital to prevent serious, lasting head injuries. This educational seminar will provide an overview about concussion diagnosis, management, and treatment. It's perfect for coaches, parents of athletes, and athletes of any age.
