Reaching and maintaining a healthier weight is important for your overall health and wellbeing. At the Y, we’re here to support your wellness journey so that you can get to a healthier weight. We have lots of options available for individual, family, small group or program sessions available to cater to everyone needs. Some services will include hands-on classes in our brand new Cooking Studio. Meet with a registered dietitian to understand the relationship between nutrients and your health to empower your food decision-making and resulting in you having more energy, feeling better and lowering your risk for chronic disease in the future. Your needs and dietary habits will be discussed and a plan will be customized for you. Sessions are 45 minutes and are by appointment.
In YMCA Youth and Family Nutrition Consultations, our dietitians work together with you to help your child develop healthy habits through family nutrition support. We will create personalized nutrition plans for your family, discuss how to manage chronic diseases or illnesses, and achieve personal health goals as your child gets older. By appointment only. Parent/caregiver must be present at the appointment.
